Champorcher Miserin Refuge

Welcome to the Miserin Refuge In the heart of the Mont Avic Regional Park, right on the border with the magnificent Gran Paradiso National Park, stands the Miserin Refuge, at an elevation of 2,582 meters.
This structure, originally a hospice for pilgrims on their way to the nearby Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, now offers a relaxing and restful respite to the many hikers and nature lovers who travel along Alta Via No. 2.
A Dive into Nature and Tradition Enchanting Location: Located on the shore of Lake Miserin in Champorcher, the hut boasts an enviable location with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, offering the perfect setting to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle.
Activities and Adventures Hiking: The hut is the starting point for the Mont Avic Refuges Summer Tour, a four-day hiking trail that winds through the park, offering routes of varying difficulty and allowing you to explore the unique fauna and flora of this region.
Special Events: During the summer season, the refuge organizes events such as “Quantum Hiking,” a workshop combining hiking and theoretical physics, and astronomical observation evenings, allowing people to discover the wonders of the starry sky above the Alps.
