This easy and accessible route is perfect for a day outdoors, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas.
The Route: From the Abbey to the Panorama Departure from Ozein The adventure begins in the small parking lot located in front of the village of Ozein, where visitors can leave their cars and prepare for the hike.
The trail opens as it proceeds to the left, passing through the quiet village and past the hamlet’s only restaurant, where hikers can take a break for coffee or a meal before starting the trek.
Through Meadows and Woods After leaving the village, the trail heads into the vast meadows that stretch around Ozein, offering open spaces and lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
Continuing on, the trail enters a lush forest, allowing hikers to enjoy the coolness and silence of nature, an opportunity to reconnect with the environment and breathe in the clean mountain air.
Arrival at Turlin and the Breathtaking View After the forested section, the trail meets a paved municipal road that hikers must follow to reach the village of Turlin.
Here, the trail gives one of its most spectacular spots: a panoramic view sweeping over the main mountains of the Aosta Valley.
This is an ideal time to take photographs, have a picnic, or simply sit back and admire the panorama that stretches as far as the eye can see.
