The trail, known as the Great Matterhorn Balcony, immediately plunges into a beautiful coniferous forest. After about an hour’s walk, the trail leads to Sommarèse, a picturesque hamlet in the municipality of Emarèse. Here, the trail crosses a section of the paved road. Hikers can follow this road uphill for a short distance before rejoining trail No. 107 on the left, immersing themselves once again in the natural landscape. Arrival at Col Tzecore
Continuing on, the trail climbs gradually to Col Tzecore. This section offers a moderate climb, suitable for all ages and skill levels.
