Starting from the Arnad road junction, an easy route suitable for everyone begins along which we can admire the striking castles of this area.
The first one we can admire is the Vallaise Castle, situated in a panoramic location and surrounded by vineyards (currently closed to the public for restoration work).Inside are numerous frescoes representing mythological scenes, fantastic landscapes and allegories.Continuing along the route we encounter the Lower Chateau de la Costa, another home of the Vallaise family, of which only a few remains. Finally we conclude the route with the Upper Castle, which stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking the village.
The castle is now reduced to the state of ruins, nevertheless it is possible to visit it with the help of an easy scaffold.
The grandeur and grandeur of the building testify to a period of great prosperity of the Vallaise family.
