Gressoney-Saint-Jean Lake Gover
An evergreen for families!
Lake Gover is a small alpine lake located in the center of the municipality of Gressoney-Saint-Jean, at an altitude of about 1386 meters, and is fed by mountain water springs.
Surrounded by nature, it offers panoramic views of both the peaks of the Monte Rosa chain and the valleys below.
It is possible to walk around the lake, enjoying the beauty of the landscape and the crystal clear waters.
There is a large playground near the lake, and entertainment activities are often organized for young children.
There is no best season to visit Lake Gover, because activities continue all year round: during the summer months, in fact, it is possible to practice sport fishing and relax in the surrounding nature, or take rejuvenating walks in the middle of the forest; in winter, on the other hand, the lake turns into a natural ice rink, which makes the place even more impressive.
The lake is easily accessible via a hiking trail that starts from the center of Gressoney-Saint-Jean and follows the course of the Lys stream.
