Bionaz Lexert Picnic Area

The Lexert picnic area, in Bionaz, Aosta Valley, is a large area perfect for spending a summer Sunday afternoon outdoors in the woods and next to a mountain pond.
Access and use of picnic tables and barbecues for grilling is charged from 01/06 to 31/08.
The permit is issued by parking meters.
Tables cannot be reserved and you must go to the ticket machine for payment.

How to get to the Lexert picnic area The Lexert picnic area can be easily reached from Aosta: you need to take your car and take Viale del Gran San Bernardo in the direction of Valpelline.
You reach the town of Valpelline and continue past La Cleyvaz, then Chozod, Lavod, Pied de Ville, and so on until you reach the hamlet of Lexert.
From here, you park your car in the convenient dedicated parking lot and within a minute’s walk you can already see the central pond and all the stations with benches, tables and barbecues around it.   Useful information Altitude: 1,550 meters above sea level.
