The Route: From Fabrique to Lake Panaz
Departure from Fabrique
The adventure begins in the quiet hamlet of Fabrique, where walkers can take the interval trail No. 102. This trail, which crosses the paved road several times, offers a varied walk that allows you to savor the changing landscape of the Aosta Valley. Through Gettaz and Quicord
Continuing on trail No. 102, you will reach the hamlet of Gettaz. From here, the trail continues to loc. Quicord and then loc. Panaz, where the views become more and more striking. These small hamlets are perfect examples of how nature and human life intertwine in the mountains, with old dwellings overlooking breathtaking views. Toward Lake Panaz
Not far from the village of Panaz, a crossroads marks the point where to leave itineraries No. 102 and No. 3. Here, taking itinerary No. 3C on the right, you begin the last leg of the walk that leads directly to Lake Panaz. This section of the trail is short but intensely scenic, culminating with the arrival at the lake, a place of outstanding natural beauty.
