The trek begins in Arlier, from where you proceed to the village of Goillaz. Past the village, follow the farm road on the left, not accessible to vehicles, which leads to Lusey Damon. Here the dirt road ends and the actual hiking trail begins, climbing steeply to the right of a building and entering a mixed coniferous forest. Through the Vallone di Ponton
The trail continues, reaching an important crossroads. Ignoring the descending branch, continue straight on a path marked by yellow stickers. The trail, slightly diagonal, crosses the orographic right of the Vallone di Ponton, leading hikers to a wide plateau. The last part of the route resumes with a more pronounced climb, crossing areas of scree that test hikers’ stamina and skill. The finish is Col Varotta, a natural saddle between Mont Revi and Mont Avic, from which there are spectacular views of the valley below and the surrounding peaks.
