Departure from Lyveroulaz
The starting point is the hamlet of Lyveroulaz, easily reached from Regional Road No. 22 toward Saint-Nicolas, following a fork on the left. Here, visitors can park their cars at the entrance to the village and walk to the end of the village, where the actual trail begins. Through the Forest
The trail initially plunges into a lush forest, offering a peaceful atmosphere and direct contact with nature. The path is suitable for everyone, thanks to its ease and undemanding terrain, which allows you to fully enjoy the silence and nuances of the undergrowth. Meadows of Saint-Nicolas
Past the forest, the trail opens onto the vast meadows of Saint-Nicolas. Here the trail turns left and, crossing this open area, leads to the local little church. From this elevated point, visitors can admire a spectacular panorama of the Central Valley, with views ranging from the majestic peaks of Mont Emilius to Rutor. Picnic Area and Bois de la Tour
A few hundred meters to the right, after the little church, is the Bois de la Tour. This area, along with the adjacent equipped picnic area, is an ideal place for a restorative stop. Here you can arrange a picnic in the shade of the trees or simply relax while admiring the beauty of the landscape.
