Gignod MAIN – Craft and Innovation Museum

MAIN – Craft and Innovation Museum MAIN (Craft and Innovation Museum) is an exhibition space dedicated to crafts, managed by IVAT (Institut Valdôtain de Tradition) at the Casaforte Caravex in Gignod.
The center offers temporary thematic exhibitions of up to 2 years, events and workshops to preserve artisanal “savoir-faire” and promote encounters between cultural entities and local realities.
Its mission is to highlight the similarities, diversities and aesthetic canons of craft creations as a tool for dialogue between cultures.
MAIN collaborates with museums and cultural institutions to enhance the heritage displayed in exhibitions.
