The Route: From Nature to Alpine History Through Blanchard and Armaz The hike begins in picturesque Saint-Jacques, then proceeds to the villages of Blanchard and Armaz.

7, a route that gently enters the mountain landscape, introducing walkers to the tranquility and beauty of the Aosta Valley Alps.
Toward the Blue Lake and Mezzalama Refuge From Fièry, the route heads right toward Plan di Veraz lower, leading to the beautiful Blue Lake, a natural jewel that amazes with the color of its waters.
Continuing, the route climbs, braving the stream and glacial moraine, to a crossroads.
Here, bending to the left, we make the last stretch that leads directly to the Mezzalama Refuge, a place rich in history and mountaineering traditions.
