Valsavarenche Nex Village
A village that takes you back in time
Nestled in the beautiful valley of the Dora di Valsavarenche, the village of Nex rises majestically on a moraine ridge.
These lands, once cultivated with cereals, tell centuries-old stories.
Thanks to the skillful work of architect Franco Binel in the 1970s, Nex has been beautifully restored, retaining its authentic charm.
Every corner speaks of the life of yesteryear and the traditions of this enchanting region of Valle d’Aosta.
Characteristic wooden barns dating from the 15th-17th centuries bear witness to a forgotten agricultural past, while Rovenaud, the entrance village, celebrates the courage of Émile Chanoux and the resistance of the Aosta Valley.
