Saint-Marcel plout – eve verta
Toward the emerald mountain waters
We start from the parking lot of the Plout shrine from which we follow the paved road, passing downstream from the village. After a few minutes, a dirt road descends to the right of the road following Trail No. 3, which enters a fragrant deciduous, larch and spruce forest. We then continue along Route 4 along the dirt road that crosses the stream in some places. Interesting to glimpse, along the route, interesting remains of industrial archaeology related to mining exploitation.
As we continue walking we will encounter the Eve Verta stream, characterized by its particularly turquoise water. The intensity of the color is reminiscent of some works of art, but it is instead an entirely natural phenomenon.
