Through the Forest on Ancient Mule Tracks After crossing the hamlet in an easterly direction, the route continues on a flat path that soon enters the forest.
It is here that the real climb begins, on a charming paved mule track that meanders through the vegetation.
This section of the walk will not only allow you to soak in the tranquility of the forest but will also take you back in time, walking on roads that have seen the passage of generations.
Toward Discovery Continuing the ascent, you will reach a small house leaning against the rock face, evidence of the area’s rural past.
Past the building, the trail leads to a small plateau, marked by an old stone wall.
Here, the trail requires bending to the left and, passing an area of steep slope when vegetation permits, finally reaches a gap in the wall that guards the Pramotton tower.
