Antey-Saint-André Ru du Pan Perdu
In Antey-Saint-André it is possible to see the remains of an ancient Roman structure: we are talking about the “Ru du Pan Perdu” Aqueduct.
These are the remains of an ancient aqueduct, most likely dating back to 1300.
This aqueduct has majestic arches leaning against the mountain and in the past performed the function of conducting the waters of the Marmore stream to the fields of the middle Valley.
Today, the imposing remains of this structure are referred to by the terms “rus morts” or “rus du pan perdu,” because of their antiquity and their state of decay.
