Emarèse The Chapel of San Rocco
Between Culture and Nature
Descending further into the village, one encounters the chapel of San Rocco from 1691.
The project was the brainchild of Mrs. Maria Bonis Trèves, with the contribution of the Aosta Valley Region: she intended to fulfill the dream of her uncle, Abbé Trèves, who had always nurtured the desire to erect in Emarèse a shrine dedicated to the Holy Family.
