Perloz The Museum of the Resistance

Inaugurated on April 25, 2008, the Lys Brigade Resistance Museum is located in the historic home of the first partisan band active in the lower Aosta Valley.
The Lys Brigade, protagonist in 1943 of the first resistance action in the area, is witnessed by relics, uniforms, weapons and valuable documentary material displayed in an engaging way with the help of multimedia technologies.
The Documentation Center, located inside the museum, offers books, videos and archival documents.
History buffs can also follow the “Les Chemins de la Liberté” itinerary through the sites of the partisan struggle from Plan de Brun to Marine.
