The Vittorio Sella Refuge offers a cozy and scenic setting perfect for nature lovers and mountaineers.
Located in the Lauson Basin, the refuge is accessible after a scenic hike from Gimillan, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the park’s natural beauty and rich wildlife.
Seasons and Openings: The refuge welcomes visitors during the summer season, June 1 to September 22, 2024, and on weekends, weather permitting, until October 20, 2024.
It also offers exceptional openings on Saturdays in October, by reservation.
Services and Hospitality: The Vittorio Sella Refuge has rooms and dormitories, with a total of 30 beds.
Overnight and half-board is offered, which includes dinner, overnight stay and breakfast (drinks and sleeping bag not included).
Rates are available for CAI members and non-members, with detailed prices posted on the lodge website.
