From its beginning in Visey, the Water Trail quickly plunges into the pristine environment of Mont Avic Natural Park. Along the way, hikers can admire Lake Panaz, an oasis of tranquility surrounded by dense forests that reflect its crystal-clear water. The quietness of the lake provides a perfect refuge for local wildlife and an excellent spot for nature observations. Continuing along the path, you arrive at Lac Couvert, known not only for its serene waters but also for the rock carvings that adorn its shores, silent witnesses to bygone eras. These ancient markings are the subject of study and admiration and add an element of mystery and history to the trail. Another fascinating site along the trail is the menhir of probable Celtic origin.
